- An album holds references, not copies — a photo can live in any number of them.
- On a Mac-synced library albums flow both ways: made on a phone, they appear on the Mac; made on the Mac, they appear on every paired device.
Make an album from the Albums view, picking photos in the order you want them — the album keeps that order.
Make an album from the Albums tab, or long-press photos in the grid and add the selection.
